We Didn't Start the Fire
Joe DiMaggio was one of the best baseball players in the game. He played for the Yankees as there center fielder. Joe played thirteen years and was on the All-Star team every year he was one of the only players who ever did that. He was also a three-time M.V.P winner. DiMaggio's thirteen years playing for the Yankees they won ten pinnates and nine world championships. Joe DiMaggio is probably best known for his fifty-six game hitting streak, and his record is still standing. When he retired he was ranked fifth with most career homeruns, 361, and he was ranked sixth with the highest slugging percentage, 579. Joe DiMaggio was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995. Then in 1969 there was a poll that said that he was the greatest living player in the MLB.
